THE MASTER IS COMING SERIES (Part 1 - familar problems)

Have you ever felt that God was taking a long time to answer a prayer or bring a promise to manifestation? Have you ever started the journey and begin to wonder if you heard God clearly because of contrary experiences? Have you ever felt like screaming at someone whose says to you ‘keeping praying’ because they don’t know how much you prayed? When the word in ‘God’s time’ begins to sound to you as never?

A couple of years back, on a Saturday morning, I was moaning over a situation in my life for which I felt God should have sorted. Despite all the prayers and fasting, it felt as though things were getting worse instead of better. I was so sad I decided not to go to church the next day. What was the point! The next morning however I had a change of heart and decided to go to a parish of my church close to my house. In my mind, I wanted to go to a new place and avoid dealing with anyone I knew but little did I know that God had a different plan.

Service was great from when I got in and my spirit started to lift, when it was time for the word the preacher said and I paraphrase, “the Lord woke me up early this morning to pray about familiar problems. Familiar problems are those problems you have done all you know to do – prayed, fasted, even sowed seeds – but it appears God is not answering. He answered other prayers but this one seems to be mocking you. Don’t lose hope the Master is coming”. He went on to talk on case of Lazarus. I was so shocked I did not know when the tears began to flow.

God got my attention and it was now easier for me to hear Him speak. Over time, God began to expand to me on what it means to wait for the Master. In this series*, I will share with us some of the lessons and insights I gained on waiting for the master and hope you will be blessed...

* Given the length of time, the message is long and I will need to break in into series.
