TAKE THE CHALLENGE - Dare to believe Him

A friend shared a story recently about her 4 year old daughter that taught me more on believing God than many sermons I have heard on this subject. Let’s call the little girl Cathy. One day, Cathy’s father brought a goat home. The goat was meant to be used for food, but spent a couple of days in their home before the butcher came for it. However, the few days the goat stayed Cathy loved coming outdoors to feed it. One Saturday she came out and discovered that the goat was no longer there. This made her sad. In a bid to comfort her, her daddy took her aside and had a chat with her. Later in the day Cathy’s mum saw her having a meal and asked her “why are you now eating”? She had declared earlier she would not eat anymore - and her answer was simple and straight “My father said he will buy me another goat” My friend & I know that it was really unlikely they will buy a goat for pet, but that was besides the point.
